Join my cake wizard of an 18-yr-old daughter, Grace, as she teaches you her favorite tips and tricks for decorating beautiful and fun cupcakes and cakes. These camps were a big hit the last 3 years. Last summer, all of her camps were online with great reviews.
Grace has been perfecting her frosting and fondant techniques for 8 years. She even created the cake for her cousin's wedding and will be making her sister's wedding cake in August! Grace is also the Artistic & Activities Coordinator at Flapdoodles and the painter of their South Store mural! She also serves up coffee at Moka on Broadway. She's a hard worker!
In the beginner classes, students will become familiar with their new kit of tips, learn how to create a perfect frosting, troubleshoot, and create delectables treats!
Take-home kits include:
Tip set, spreader, extra icing bags, food coloring, cupcake liners & sprinkles, and other items to complete their projects.
Students will provide cupcakes, 6 inch round cakes, frosting (Grace will provide the recipe,) grease spray, parchment paper, and some kitchen tools like a rolling pin, spatula, and frosting spreader. Grace will post a video on how she makes the frosting and cakes.
