A global pandemic taught me quickly how to adapt to the online world of art teaching!  All of my 2020 summer camps were taught online with take home kits, and while I've added in-person classes since then, I continue to offer online classes because of these unique benefits conveyed to me by happy parents and students...

1.  Kids who have always wanted to try my classes but couldn't get transportation to my Oronoco studio are able to enjoy the fun!

2.  Kids who want to go at their own pace or have a schedule conflict can choose to watch the recording of the class instead of participate live via Zoom.

3.  The close-up screen views of my demonstrations are easy to see and follow along with.

4.  Online classes lend themselves to deeper concentration and less class distraction.

5.  The special outdoor family yard activities I offer during kit pick-up are a blast!

6.  Kids who love to save up their allowance and shop can still shop at my store.

7.  The take-home kits are very well thought-out, organized, user-friendly, and full of amazing supplies. All you'll need from home are basics like scissors, glue, and paper towels.

8.  Students can share their creations via a Google share folder for my personal feedback and enthusiastic encouragement.

What to expect from an online summer camp...

You will pick up your kit and have the opportunity to enjoy the yard activities the weekend before camp begins.  Each day of camp, you will gather the supplies you need from your kit and from home (listed on a spreadsheet in your kit) and then log into the Zoom link to complete the project with my cheerful, step-by-step guidance.  If you miss a class, you can complete it at your convenience with the recording.

This is a slideshow of the yard activities/scavenger hung from last summer.  Families LOVED this experience and it gave me a chance to meet everyone!
Below is a recording of one of last summer's Boho Design camp days to give you an idea of how I run an online class.
