Project 1: Multi-media flamingo
Includes a glass picture frame, acrylic paints, Sharpie marker, paper clay ***a small amount of hot glue or high-bond glue will be needed to mount the flamingo This is the coolest process! First we paint a background and place it in the frame. Then we add some outlines in Sharpie on the glass. Finally, we create a flamingo out of clay and mount it to the glass, so you have a framed, 3D painting/sculpture! Project 2: Copper Foil Embossed Lion Includes copper foil, foam placemat, lion template, removable tape, hanging stick, string Embossing in copper foil is a popular project in my studio, and the results are always dazzling! I'll provide a template for the lion, but students will come up with their own textures and patterns to add. Finally, they will string it to a stick for an attractive display. Project 3: Multi-media Panda Includes large paper, India ink, charcoal, acrylic paints These pandas have so much personality and the project gives kids opportunities to try out lots of media!
