2021 House Design Camp:
In Person Format

I am always on the look-out for camps that encourage original thinking and imaginative play. This is one my kids would have LOVED as youngsters! Shout out to Hatch Art Studio in Pennsylvania for coming up with the idea.
Each child will receive a beautiful 2-story wooden dollhouse to personalize. Not just for dolls, this could be a super hero hide out, a fire station, a house for pets, a club house...the ideas are endless. Boys and girls alike will enjoy this camp.
We'll create a design plan, paint and wallpaper the walls, weave our own rugs, create custom furniture, lighting, curtains, and artwork. We'll use clay, paint, wire, fabric, odds and ends. So many possibilities!
Mom or dad and child will be invited to the studio on the Sunday before camp begins to construct the dollhouse. This is not required but would be a great time of working together.

Studio camps will follow whatever the current Covid guidelines for summer camps are.
On the last day of camp, I will open the Riverwood Studio Store for kids to purchase fun and affordable art supplies and edible treats if they would like.

This is our brand new 2021 "CREATE" studio t-shirt! It's made from a super soft tri-blend fabric and designed by Jill. It's included in the price of all art camps. Group t-shirts create a sense of fun and unity in the studio! Additional t-shirts may be purchased for $15/each. |
