Gilman and the Green Balloon

It's here!Many years ago, I wrote a funny little story about a hippy-dippy hedgehog family who went to great lengths to rescue a green balloon. I spent the summer of 2024 illustrating it.
Gilman was inspired by Gus, the pet hedgehog we had for a hot minute until we realized we were not well-suited for hedgehog ownership! I can't say that I'm particularly into "signs," but I did notice the other day while playing pickleball in my church gym that a green balloon was "stuck" to the ceiling. It seemed like a good sign! Here is a picture of Gus and a sneak peek at some of the illustrations!
