A handful of hard-working Riverwood Studio students have participated in the nationwide drawing challenge called Inktober over the years. Commit to drawing in ink (micron/sharpie) one small, nicely detailed picture a day, based on a prompt. You don't have to post it on social media unless you have Instagram and want to, but you'll receive a small prize for completing it.
Here are the daily prompts. You can get started as soon as you'd like. I suggest dividing your sketchbook page into 4-6 equal rectangles with a ruler. Write the prompt in the corner and let the creativity begin! Use reference pictures!

Here is a beautiful example of someone's complete collection of 2020 Inktober drawings. Yours do not have to be drawn to this level of detail, but aim to do a good job. If you keep it small, you can add a lot more detail without it taking too long.
