Sketchbook Assignment: (scroll to the bottom to make sure you do all assignments)
Preparing for our next project
For our next in-class project, we will be combining ink and watercolor to create a unique animal painting. Choose an animal (insect, sea creature, mammal, whatever) you think has an interesting shape, find an outline of it on the internet, screenshot it and print it for a reference.
For instance, I love dolphins, so I would search "dolphin outline," find an image I like, and print it. The size of the print doesn't really matter. It doesn't need to fill the page, but it shouldn't be tiny, either. You'll be drawing from your reference.
Once you have it printed out, practice drawing it in your sketchbook. Fill the page of your sketchbook.
