The INKTOBER challenge is due in two weeks for those who are participating. I will look at them and issue prizes for those who have completed them with excellence.
Sketchbook Assignment:
This is a fun one! Choose a word and illustrate it in a way that describes what the word means. Try to fill about a half of a page (white, gray or black paper.) You may add color with colored pencils or watercolors on watercolor paper. Here are some examples:

Watch this video of quilting artist, Bisa Butler, and then answer these questions:
1. What is the fun name of the group of colors she uses?
2. How does she always want to portray her people in her art?
3. Study the quilt below the video. Use three adjectives to describe it.
