Coming this fall...

Many years ago, I wrote a funny little story about a hippy-dippy hedgehog family who went to great lengths to rescue a green balloon.  I spent the summer of 2024 illustrating it and hope to have it ready for purchase this fall! 

Gilman was inspired by Gus, the pet hedgehog we had for a hot minute until we realized we were not well-suited for hedgehog parenthood!  

I can't say that I'm particularly into "signs," but I did notice the other day while playing pickleball in my church gym that a green balloon was "stuck" to the ceiling.  I thought, "By golly, I think God is giving me a wink and a nod."
