Sketchbook Assignment:
​Finish the Picture

 Find a portrait in a magazine or online, cut it in half(ish) and carefully draw and shade the other half.  Here are examples from former students.  It is easier if you work from a black and white picture, but if you want an extra challenge, choose a colored photo and complete it with colored pencil.

Art Appreciation

Just enjoy this video about the brief history of the portrait.  You do not need to write anything down this week.
