Week 2



Sketchbook Assignment:
Create a page with whatever medium you want (colored pencil, micron or sharpie, watercolor, cut paper collage, etc.) that has some type of repetitive shape.  Remember that if you do a watercolor, use the watercolor paper in the back of your sketchbook.

Art Appreciation Assignment:
If you didn't get the chance to watch the short video about artist Paul Klee's exhibit at the Tate Museum last week, watch it now.  It's at the bottom of this page.
 The "Howling Dog" by Paul Klee is a piece we will look at on our field trip.  This is a page from the museum's website describing it.  
Questions to answer on the lined paper in your sketchbook:
1.  What is your reaction to this painting?  Why?
2.  How do you think the woman in the video would describe this painting based on how she described the other Paul Klee paintings?
