Prep for next week:
Please bring a reference photo with an ice cream theme for our Flapdoodles contest project. It will be a combination of acrylic paint on a canvas panel with paper collage. Below is the inspiration piece.
Use your reference photo to sketch out your idea before class. The panel will be square. Use your colored pencils to swatch some colors you plan to use in the painting. You don't have to color in your picture, just put some squares of colors next to it. The colors don't have to match your reference picture.
This will be your sketchbook assignment.
