Art Appreciation Assignment:
On our museum field trip to MIA, we will be viewing a beautiful, veiled sculpture by Monti, an Italian sculptor. It's one of my favorites! Many Italian sculptors carved veiled women in marble in the 1800s. Watch the video below to see a similar sculpture and how it represented what was happening in the culture.
